What we do.
- Our local neighbourhoods matter to us because we live around here too. That’s why SPAR supports the local communities.
- There are lots of ways in which SPAR benefit your local areas. Our teams regularly help organise activities such as litter picking, community renovation projects or local sports days.
- By investing in local charitable partnerships SPAR helps the local neighbourhood enjoy wider access to more sports. We are also proud to be working with European Athletics, Glamorgan Cricket, Leicester Tigers and Disability Sports Wales. Together we can foster the next generation of sports champions across England and Wales.
- Our Community Cashback donates over £100,000 to small charities every year, making a real difference in the communities they operate. Last years winners included Mothers Matter, Autism Dogs Charity and Younger People with Dementia.
Our charity partners.
We have two charity partners that we are very proud of. We have partnered with, the UK’s leading charity, Marie Curie to raise £250k to support their invaluable work. SPAR is also a partner of Disability Sports Wales. Our colleagues support the charity’s work with the InSport series which aims to create an inclusive community.
