Our charity partnerships include:
Marie Curie: Marie Curie is the UK’s leading end of life charity, providing expert care and support for people with any terminal illness and their loved ones. Through a combination of national campaigns, regional fundraising, and supplier collaborations, SPAR has made a significant impact on the charity’s ability to deliver essential end of life care in communities across the UK. Since the partnership started in 2017 SPAR have raised an incredible £4 million.
Disability Sport Wales: SPAR have been the community partner of the insport series since 2019. Insport is a Disability Sport Wales programme providing inclusive sporting opportunities for disabled adults and young people across Wales.
Blakemore Foundation: The Blakemore Foundation is a charitable trust established by the Blakemore family to support good causes across A.F. Blakemore’s trading area.
The Blakemore Foundation offers three main types of grants, which are:
1. Monetary donations awarded up to £200.
2. In-kind donations: Supporting events with a goods donation of food, drink, toiletries, or supplies.
3. Match-fund donations: Can be awarded up to £200. These donations match fund A.F. Blakemore colleagues fundraising for any good cause.
