AF Blakemore appoints Taranjit Singh Dhillon as Director of Independent Retail – Recruitment

AF Blakemore & Son is delighted to announce the appointment of Taranjit Singh Dhillon to the Blakemore Trade Partners Senior Leadership Team as Director of Independent Retail – Recruitment, effective 29th December 2025.

In this role, Taranjit will lead our Independent Recruitment Team and will play a key role in driving our mission to grow a profitable and sustainable family business that empowers independent retailers across our SPAR network in line with our values of striving for excellence.

Taranjit joins A.F. Blakemore & Son from Co-op Wholesale and Tesco plc where he demonstrated a strong commitment to partnership, performance, and innovation.

Having unveiled its new £4.5m investment package and a rebate scheme to earn up to 8%, supporting the commercial proposition for independent convenience store retailers, A.F. Blakemore is at an exciting part of its journey. Taranjit’s will be key in continuing to develop the Blakemore Trade Partners Plus proposition.
