Tomas Blakemore joined the company in 2010, after completing his degree in Business, whilst at University Tomas spent time within the Wholesale area of the business. Tomas started his full time career working in our warehouses, picking orders, replenishing stock and understanding how they are operated. Since then, he has held key roles within A.F. Blakemore & Son across majority of business functions, spending a number of years in the SPAR Trading team where he looked after Bread, Cakes, Frozen and Ice Cream. He moved into Blakemore Meats where he had full P&L responsibility of the division and grew sales and profitability over the 5 years, while completing an Exec-MBA at Warwick University. With a career of 15 years, Tomas has established a reputation for leading with honesty and Integrity and empowering his teams around him. He is currently Retail Development Director where he is focused on growing our Independent Retail Estate.

Tomas lives in Wolverhampton with his wife and son. Outside of work, his interests are keeping fit and Golf.
