Carol has been CEO of AF Blakemore and Son since 2023 and sits on the AFB main Board, SPAR Food Distributor Board and Audit committee. Carol is also a non-executive director at Hammerson plc who owns city centre retail locations including Bullring, Bristol’s Cabot Place, Reading Oracle, and Dublin’s Dundrum. 
 

Previously, Carol spent 6.5 years at ODEON Cinemas Group as Managing Director UK & Ireland, and Commercial VP for Europe, overseeing revenue growth across nine markets, and sat on the boards of Digital Cinema Media and the UK Cinema Association. Before joining ODEON, Carol was Global Chief Marketing Officer at Costa Coffee, having previously held senior Commercial and Marketing positions at Associated British Foods, Cadbury-Schweppes, and PepsiCo.

Carol lives in Bedfordshire, with Andy, her husband and dog, Monty. She has 2 grown up sons, Sam and Jamie and in her spare time, she’s a foodie and always has an intent to get to the gym to try to keep fit.
